Supported Features
The cable supports 3D TV over HDMI in resolutions up to 1080p and regular video in resolutions beyond today's 1080p systems including 4K x 2k (roughly four times the resolution of a 1080p display)

The cable also supports Ethernet channel technology which incorporates a dedicated data channel enabling high-speed, bi-directional networking at up to 100 Mb/sec. NOTE: HDMI Ports that support Ethernet Channel are required for internet sharing.

The audio return channel allows your TV to receive multi-channel audio through an HDMI connection and also send content "upstream" from the TV back to the audio system, without the need for additional audio cables.
